How do I get a marriage license?
To be married in Tennessee, a marriage license is required from this State, which may be obtained at the Sevier County Courthouse or any marriage license center. Neither a waiting period nor a blood test is required. Both Bride and Groom must produce a valid Driver's License for identification purposes, and be at least 18 years of age.
How long is the ceremony?
You should arrive at the Chapel 30 minutes before your scheduled ceremony. This will give you time to speak with our ordained minister. It will depend on which package that you choose. Any package with 30 photographs or more lasts at least one hour. Packages are anywhere from 30 minutes - 3 hours. You will find the time alotted for each package on the packages page.
Can we customize a package ?
You can customize any of our packages to accommodate your needs or you may start with our basic package and include as many add-ons you wish.
Can we dress at the Chapel?
We provide private dressing rooms and seating area for both the Bride & Groom only where you can prepare for your big day. You must arrive at the Chapel 30 minutes before your scheduled wedding ceremony to allow for time to prepare or change.
Where can we stay?
We have beautiful secluded log cabins that are convenient to the Chapel and downtown Gatlinburg.
Is there a dress code?
No, you may dress as casual or as formal as you prefer. We provide tux rental for your convenience. Tuxes must be reserved at least 5 days before your scheduled ceremony.
May we have attendants?
Yes, you may have as many as 6 attendants on each side during your ceremony and our Chapel will accommodate as many as 100 guests.
Is your Minister ordained?
Yes. Reverend Travis Tatum has been an ordained minister for over 30 years and has performed over 10,000 Christian ceremonies.
